Ireland, birthplace of Irish dancing. Growing up with a hobby of Irish dancing, prompted me to dream of one day irish dancing in Ireland. One day this dream became a reality thanks to Girl Scouts!

Through raising funds with a Travel Troop, I was able to visit Ireland for almost two weeks! I traveled coasts, cities, countrysides, mountain ranges and more. The natural scenery and cast landscape inspired me. I soon found myself filming small clips of myself dancing acrosss the country with various landscapes as backdrops. I then had the concept to combine these videos into one edited film to show others Ireland while also displaying my dancing. Almost 50+ hours of editing later I had the finished product. I was able to share the video with family and friends as a means to share my journey, passion, and love for Ireland and dance with them!

You can watch and enjoy the video https://youtu.be/I91GVbbqBF4

A few things to note about the video:

You will note that the video includes clips from Northern Ireland. I did that on purpose to signify a unity of ireland. Ireland past is rich and although the two countries are separated by government divides, the countries still are united by a common link. The culture of dance and music. Thus I was insistent on dancing even while in Northern Ireland and including it in my video.
